Brin Herb Nursery is situated on B851, 7 miles from Daviot and 20 miles from Fort Augustus.
Please note: The B851 will be closed for road works for 3 weeks from 29th April 2013 between A9 junction and Inverarnie (B861 junction). alternative route from Inverness, use B861. A diversion route is marked from A9. For other alternative routes please contact us.
The area is ideal for walking and cycling, and there is climbing and bouldering on Brin Rock - our dramatic backdrop.
Loch Ness is just 10 miles away for Nessie spotting, or just relaxing; RSPB Loch Ruthven reserve is 2 miles away and there is also fishing on Loch Ruthven; and on site there is a Historic Scotland scheduled site - a Pictish Barrow Cemetery
The city of Inverness is 12 miles away with shopping, theatre, cinemas, museums, art galleries, sports facilities (including swimming), the river Ness, Caledonian Canal, and Moray Firth - with and boat trips to view dolphins and other wildlife.
The Cairngorms National Park boundry is 30 minutes away, and there are NTS and other Historic Scotland sites within easy reach.

It is designed to be of interest to visitors coming to, or already in the area, as well as locals - who may find out something they did not already know about the area!

Parking - we welcome motorhomes and tents ot stay overnight, by arrangement, and if you want to park your car in the car park in order to cycle or gofor a walk you are welcome to do so (on a first come first served basis).
