Information Point

Brin Herb Nursery is situated on B851, 7 miles form Daviot and 20 miles from Fort Augustus.

The area is ideal for walking and cycling, and there is climbing and bouldering on Brin Rock - our dramatic backdrop.

Loch Ness is just 10 miles away for Nessie spotting, or just relaxing.

RSPB Loch Ruthven reserve is 2 miles away and there is also fishing on Loch Ruthven.

The city of Inverness is 12 miles away with shopping, theatre, cinemas, museums, art galleries, sports facilities (including swimming), theriver Ness, Caledonian Canal, and Moray Firth - with and boat trips to view dolphins and other wildlife.

The Cairngorms National Park boundry is 30 minutes away, and there are NTS and Historic Scotland sites within easy reach.

This page is the focus of the information point we have set up at Brin for any of our customers who wish to use it, and for anyone, anywhere in the world, to access information about the nursery and the area!

It includes links to places of interest, things to do, accommodation, etc. in the local area and will be a guide that will build over a period of time. It is designed to be of interest to visitors coming to, or already in the area, as well as locals - who may find out something they did not already know about the area!
